Landmark is excited to continue to hold Ukelele classes for our local seniors. Join the likes of George Harrison, Taylor Smith, Eddie Vedder, Grace VanderWaal, and Israel Kamakawiwo'ole and learn to play the ukulele. Landmark Community Theatre, Inc. at the Thomaston Opera House is offering the second series of four-week courses on how to play the ukulele for area seniors, 55 years or older.
Session 2 will hold classes on January 29, February 5, February 13, and February 20th. Classes will be held at 10 AM for beginners and 11 AM for advanced players and run for approximately 50 minutes. Classes will be held in the Senior Center, located on level 1 of the Thomaston Town Hall. Space will be limited to 6-8 seniors in each class. All registered seniors will be provided with a ukulele for fun and practice at home, for the duration of their course.
