LCT Youth Theatre will be holding Fall Classes beginning October 1st and running until December 10th. Classes will be held on Saturday mornings from 9 am to 11 am.
Students will be cast in the holiday play, "It's Sad, So Sad, When an Elf goes Bad" and perform for parents on the final day of class. This is a non-musical, so no singing or dancing is required. In addition to acting instruction, students will learn theater terms, etiquette, audition skills, vocal projection, comedic timing, and what to expect when in a production. Perfect for those students who are interested in performing but do not want to be in a musical. As classes progress, students should expect additional rehearsal.
Registration is $175 per student. Students should be between the ages of 8 and 12 years old.
The class is under the instruction of Cheyenne Walent and Debbie Cryan.
Cheyenne has spent over 3 decades on the stage, performing in over 75 local productions. She brings over 20 years of experience teaching dance and theater. She has taught elementary school for 11 years and has directed children, adults, and teens.
Debbie has worked in production for 10 years. She has fulfilled many roles behind the scenes and has a passion for the arts.
