Celebrate the holidays with LCT! Landmark is pleased to present the acclaimed holiday tale, "A Christmas Carol" for socially distanced in-person live performances from December 5th through December 20th at the Thomaston Opera House.
Enjoy the classic Charles Dickens novella as performed in a radio play format. The show takes place on a sound stage of an old fashion radio program in front of a studio audience. This version is similar to the famous 1940’s Orson Welles broadcasts of the Dickens’ classic. Each actor will be stationed at their desk with a microphone, script, minimal props and costumes. Any musical entertainment will be pre-recorded or performed in an isolated sound booth. The play is performed by 6 actors performing all the characters in the story including; Bob Cratchit, Fezziwig, Tiny Tim, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, and of course, the miser himself, Scrooge.
Audience members will be required to wear a mask or face covering. Seating is socially separated and based on party size. Total seating capacity for each performance is 100 persons maximum which is equivalent to less than 20% capacity. Patrons are encouraged to book early.
