Volunteer Spotlight Reception

Volunteer Spotlight Reception

A pre-show reception to celebrate our Volunteer Spotlight, David Verdosci! Help LCT recognize our volunteer spotlight recipient and make Little Mermaid a success. Join us in the Crescent Gallery on Saturday July 11th from 5:45-6:45pm for bar refreshments and appetizers. Gallery is located next to the Box Office, 2nd Floor of Town Hall.

You may know David Verdosci, a local resident with many talents, full of kindness and a wonderful family. Mr. Verdosci will be presented with a Volunteer Spotlight Award this Saturday, July 11th at the Town Hall, Crescent Gallery 2nd floor, from 5:45pm to 6:45pm. There will be a bar service and refreshments, plus a showing of some of David's fantastic art used in many Opera House productions!   Count yourself lucky to work with, or simply to meet David Verdosci, a local resident of Thomaston and veritable Renaissance Man. Mr. Verdosci has the kind of can-do attitude that infects others with the same brand effervescent energy. That energy is so evident in all of his interactions with other volunteers and patrons of the Thomaston Opera House. Mr. Verdosci has been a long-time Opera House volunteer, providing his skills as Set Designer, Painter and Videographer. He has designed and painted dozens of play and musical sets with both the Opera House and its current managers, Landmark Community Theatre. His designs are always fresh, creative and superbly executed. Some of his most recent sets include Disney The Little Mermaid & Mary Poppins, Miracle on 34th Street, South Pacific and Winnie the Pooh. David is often behind the scenes and the camera - he films, produces and compiles DVD’s of each production as well as video promos for many of Landmark’s shows! David has also joined the ranks of our LCT Directors with his first musical, Winnie the Pooh.   LCT and the Opera House are very proud to award the Spotlight Volunteer to Mr. Verdosci and hope to have a good showing of support at the Volunteer reception on Saturday July 11th from 5:45pm to 6:45pm in the Crescent Gallery, 2nd floor of the Town Hall. Immediately following the reception is a short ceremony on the Opera House Main Stage, where a production of Disney the Little Mermaid will begin at 7pm. Tickets available for this and other productions online: www.landmarkcommunitytheatre.org
