Floydian Trip brings Wish You Were Here celebration to the Landmark Community Theatre at the Thomaston Opera House
Connecticut’s award-winning Pink Floyd tribute marks the album’s 50th anniversary with a one-night-only show in Thomaston
Thomaston, CT (September 5, 2025) — On September 20th, Connecticut-based Floydian Trip will bring its Pink Floyd tribute and laser light show to the Landmark Community Theatre at the Thomaston Opera House, as part of the band’s 2025 tour honoring the 50th anniversary of Wish You Were Here.
The group, with members from all across Connecticut, plays this music with the same phrasing, feel, and presence that defined Floyd’s most iconic tours. Their precision has earned them a fast-growing fanbase and the title of “Best Band” in the 2025 Best of Hartford Readers’ Poll.
The Landmark appearance will mark the band’s Thomaston debut. In addition to Wish You Were Here, the show will include music from Animals, The Wall, The Dark Side of the Moon, and more, brought to life with a state-of-the-art laser light show.
“We’ve played to Floyd fans all over the East Coast, but the energy’s different when it’s here at home,” said Adam Clymer, founder and drummer for Floydian Trip. “We may be new to Thomaston, but Connecticut has always had our back.”
“For over 140 years the Thomaston Opera House has served as a hub of culture and arts for the citizens of Connecticut," said Jeffrey Dunn, Executive Director of the Landmark Community Theatre at the Thomaston Opera House. "Floydian Trip will add its name to the long list of acts that have graced our stage, and we can’t wait to see them perform.”
