An update for our dedicated patrons and volunteers

An update for our dedicated patrons and volunteers
03

As we approach the end of the summer and beginning of the school year, the staff at LCT would like to keep all of you up to date on our 2020 season and events going forward. Without a clear timeline for re-opening per state restrictions, we are pushing all of our 2020 canceled musicals to our 2021 season. However, we hope to be able to continue with our non-musical production of "A Christmas Carol" this December, providing we are allowed. Additional smaller productions maybe presented once re-opening is feasible.

LCT is committed to our season subscribers and ticket holders. We are encouraging all of our patrons to hold any purchased tickets to be used at the rescheduled performances.  Ticket prices will increase for the 2021 season due to necessary covid-19 precautions like limited attendance, safety precautions, and PPE provisions. Patrons who hold tickets to any of our 2020 canceled productions will have their tickets honored for the 2021 season at no additional charge. If for any reason you cannot attend the specific performance, LCT will provide free exchanges to any other performance or production scheduled.  Patrons may also choose to return the tickets and receive a credit on their account for a future admission or turn them into a gift certificate that can be given to friends and family. In all of these cases season subscribers will maintain their preferred seat status. Additionally, these patrons will also enjoy exclusive access to events and online streaming.

In the event a patron cannot or doesn’t plan to attend any future performances, a refund maybe requested.  Refund checks may take 4-6 weeks to receive.  Alternatively, a credit card refund is available with a 5% processing charge.  These patrons may also consider donating the refund to LCT to help defray the financial burden brought on by COVID-19. This would qualify for a tax deduction to a 501(c)3. Patrons may contact the box office to make any necessary arrangements at 860-283-6250 or via email: tickets@landmarkcommunitytheatre.org

On a happier note, LCT is excited to announce that we are planning some fun socially distanced events at the theater including a pop-up shopping experience featuring local Thomaston artisans & boutiques as well as a haunted house. We will also continue to provide new virtual streaming events for children and adults.  Once LCT receives dates and instructions for re-opening, a calendar will be created with all the rescheduled performances and new offerings for the coming year.  This calendar, as well as any updates will be posted on our website and social media accounts. Please make sure you are subscribed to all of our pages to receive the latest updates.
Look for more virtual streaming events in the weeks to come.
